Project Kutemba: Low-Cost Prosthesis

A project to develop low-cost, mass-producible prosthetic limbs for use by patients in rural Soroti, Uganda who suffer from malnutrition diabetes.
We worked with experts from the New York Hospital for Special Surgery and Albert Einstein College of Medicine to design, manufacture, and stress test a prototype prosthesis.
